Terms of Use
Last updated
By reading Finance Fluent you agree to these terms. They are short and written to be understood rather than to be impressive.
This is education, not advice
Everything published here is for general educational purposes. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or derivative. Nothing here takes account of your financial position, your objectives or your tolerance for loss, because I do not know any of those things about you.
I am not a SEBI-registered Research Analyst or a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser. If you want advice that is specific to you and comes with regulatory protection, speak to someone who is registered to give it.
Risk
Markets involve risk, and derivatives involve substantial risk. You can lose more than your initial outlay trading options and futures. Past performance, whether of a strategy, an index or a worked example, tells you nothing reliable about future results. Any decision you take after reading something here is yours alone, and so is the outcome.
Accuracy, and its limits
Articles are researched carefully and corrected when they are wrong, as set out in the editorial policy. Even so, the content is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. Regulations change, exchange rules change, and an article that was accurate on the day it was published may not be accurate when you read it. Check the published and updated dates on each article, and verify anything that matters against the primary source.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published on it. That includes trading losses.
Content and copyright
The writing, charts and diagrams on this site are mine. You are welcome to quote briefly with attribution and a link. Republishing whole articles, or using them to train a commercial model, requires permission. The two Python libraries referenced across the site are separately released under the MIT licence, and those terms govern the code.
Links to other sites
Articles link to primary sources such as SEBI and NSE circulars, and occasionally to other third-party material. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content or their accuracy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
